We are back!

Our computer died several months ago and we only recently got it back up and going again.
It has been nearly three months since I last posted. Our family is well. Christmas was dreaded and then turned out to be the most peaceful time we have ever had. Jaden enjoyed opening gifts much more than last year, provided it was *quick*.
Jaden started chelation! She finished her first 'round'--three days on--yesterday. And now she rests for 11 days, then another round of 3 days planned. She had no negative side effects whatsoever, which is pretty uncommon, especially in a sensitive child. \o/ Another answered prayer :o)
Jaden's progress had been wonderful even before starting chelation. She had been spelling her name, counting to ten (though she recently began counting to ten in Spanish as well) and began to imitate others. Her latest report from the Speech Therepist says her language has 'exploded' and she is a delight. (I already knew both) She has made amazing progress--she is now only 1 year behind in her expressive language and 2 years behind in her receptive. (What she understands when people talk to her) Her latest progress:
She knows about 20 signs.
She saw a child fall down in the store and said, "Ut-oh! Alright?"
She was jealous that I was sitting close to Morgan on the sofa so she came to me, lifted her shirt to reveal her back, and said, "Scratch"
I have caught her singing the songs on her Signing Time DVD's.
She touched my hair and said, "Hair. Brush it"
She knocked a photo off the wall and Kady came by and said, "Boo! What are you doing with that?" Jaden said, "Mom say I have it!" (Complete fib, by the way--:O) )
It is amazing to watch her. I am so grateful that God made this girl. Life would be somewhat uneventful without her.
