Round 5

Today is the last day of round five of chelation. I need to give one dose at 8pm and one more at 11 and then we are done until Monday, hallelujah!
There are no noticeable improvements so far. This is a long, drawn-out steady process. On the negative side, yeast will fight and fight and fight to win the battle. No wonder I gave up so easily the last few times we attempted chelation--the yeast is alone a full-time job! I figured out how to keep it under control, though. I have realized that I need to give my girl lots of yeast fighters. One isn't going to cut it, at least not right now. So, she is currently taking Nystatin liquid 10mgs three times per day, Grapefruit Seed Extract 100mgs three times per day, 1 capsule of Candida Clear three times per day, and 5 drops of Biocidin three times per day. I am also adding in a new probiotic called 299 from Jarrow formulas, which is supposed to be great for clostridia bacteria.
This afternoon when she was bordering on meltdown, I rubbed magnesium cream into her lower back, gave her some extra vitamin C and magesium powder and an extra Adrenergize capsule. Within 10 minutes she was back to being her sweet self. It is exhausting staying on top of it but also very interesting to see how things affect her so quickly, one way or another. She is so sensitive.
Changes I have noticed: Asking to go to bed. Asking to take a bath (wanting to feel better). Reflux flares. Lower appetite. Chapped lips.

Sounds like she is doing very well. My son just finished round five too, but he is not doing as well.

Besides all that you mentioned, is she on any multivitamins?

Zurama, are you on the recovery from autism list? Is your son on vit C, E, magnesium and zinc? I have found my girl needs these four times per day (E only twice)in fairly high amounts to feel good. She takes other things too and her multi is Spectrum Complete.

Yes I am. Yes he is on all that and the same amount of time you mentioned. E twice a day too. His multivitamin is Super Nu-thera from Kirkmans. I just started the bottle.
