Supplements

It has been a long time since I last posted. Mostly it is because Jaden has slowed down a bit in her progress and I didn't want to 'see' that.
About a week ago I noticed that all the new words she had learned end of Jan/beginning of Feb were not as clear as they had been. She seems to say just part of the word now. I suppose I need to remember that children with Autism learn differently than we do. I keep forgetting that they don't retain things well. What they learn to do today they might not be able to do tomorrow. :O(
Also, Jaden started a new supplement last Thursday. She always has a hard time getting used to new meds or supplements or foods. So Thursday and Friday she was very difficult. She didn't feel well and didn't want to cooperate with anything, even handwashing or bathing, which she usually loves. By Saturday she was back to herself--mostly content and learning well. Thank God!
I was thinking about all of the medicines and supplements JadenGrace needs to take to get well.
I will post them here just so you get some idea of the work and labor of love that is involved in taking care of her:
After breakfast:
SuperNuThera (liquid multi-vit with high B6)
DMG (liquid)
Folinic Acid (liquid)
Nystatin (powder mixed in food)
Grapefruit Seed extract (on wrists)
N-Acetylcysteine (cream on skin) every other day
MethylB12 shots (every three days)
---------
after lunch:
Magnesium (liquid)
Lemon Juice (mixed in food)
Zinc (liquid)
Cod Liver Oil
Probiotics (capsule broken open and mixed in food)
Vitamin C/bioflavnoids (capsule)
---------
After dinner:
Selenium (liquid)
DMG again
Probiotics again
Nystatin again
Lemon juice again
--------
around 7pm: Oil of Oregano between the toes (smile--Lance says he doesn't like that one because it makes him think Jaden is Italian--forgive if you are Italian, please ;O)
--------
bedtime:
Calcium (liquid)
---------------------------------------
Though Jaden needs all of these, we have seen the most amazing progress with: the SuperNuThera vitamins; after treating the yeast with Nystatin and Probiotics (along with medicines used a few months ago but not currently); and with the MethylB12 shots.
