Potty training already?

Jaden has been interested in the toilet for a couple of days. When we go into the bathroom to change her diaper, she slowly makes her way to the toilet and peeks ever so slowly to see what is in that thing! She never gets too close. She is curious but cautious.
We have been encourageing her just like we would if she was a typical two year old: telling her that when she is big she will use the potty and we would be SO proud and she would LOVE to wear panties, etc etc etc....:O)
I was really surprised that she was even interested. All of our older children were potty-trained at 32 months...not 31 or 33 but 32....and I even told a friend how sad it would be that Jaden wouldn't follow suit....because I keep hearing other testimony of autistic children not being trained until they are 4 or 5 or 6...
And now Jaden is 31 months old and beginning to be interested...I did get her a small potty of her own today. She wouldn't sit on it. I wonder if she will change her mind before this month is up?
