ear infection/money update

Jaden had a rough week. She got an ear infection, her first one. :O( She spent three nights waking up and four days pretty miserable. She did sleep well last night, so the meds must be working! \o/ The meds do cause increase in yeast, though, which she does *not* need to have. Please pray that it will not cause another regression and that I am able to handle the overgrowth with proper medicines and supplements!
I forgot to update on our money situation. A few weeks ago, I wrote that Reg had decided to stop biomedical because it is too expensive....but it wasn't long before we received a check in the mail from someone who loves Jaden to pieces. :O) I was leaving my house one day at noon and I got this thought: "check the mail" I was tempted to ignore (and even argue with it ;O)) since the mail doesn't get here until dinner time. But I did check it. I cried all the way up the road!
And yesterday I had a book sale at our house. We have been collecting books for so many years and have many. I even have a wall hanging that says, "When I have a little money, I buy books. If I have any left, I buy food and clothes." I love that. For many years it was very true to my heart, believe it or not! I would rather read than eat or dress ;O) An amazing thing happened, though. God gave me the strength to part with the books....and the faith to know they will be replaced one day...AND we made money...and got to see and chat with friends we hadn't seen in a while. It was a good day...
And we will be doing biomedical...as long as God keeps giving the money and the green light.

Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I know you sent your precious son to die on the cross for me, to cover my sins. I receive your promise of salvation. I ask you to come into my life, to save me and to renew my heart, mind and soul. Help me to understand your words and to keep seeking your ways all the days of my life. Thank you for saving me, Amen.
