He is so kind

This afternoon I went to Jaden's room to put her clean clothes away and I found her music on. It is a lullaby CD by Twila Paris. Beautiful. Jaden listens to it nearly every afternoon at naptime and every evening at bedtime, while she falls asleep. The song I found on this afternoon was playing these words:
------------------------------------
He loves you
More than I can say
And He is always taking care of you
He loves you
More than I can say
And more than I can say
He hopes that you will love Him, too.
-------------------------------------
I began to cry and talked to God. I said, "I hope that one day Jaden will know how to love you." He whispered to my heart, "She already does."
And then He reminded me of something. A few months ago, I was grieving the fact that Jaden would never enjoy books and stories like a typical child. I remembered back to when my older children were little and we would all cuddle up on the sofa and read for what seemed like forever. I so wanted that for Jaden. And for me. I honestly thought that wasn't something that would happen, at least not anytime soon...But--isn't God kind? Jaden's favorite thing is books now. She brings me quite a few during the day and is not impatient while I read them. She likes to turn the pages and even says the words sometimes. I can tell by the look on her face that she adores books.
It is so precious to me.
