Smarty

Today we were driving to school and Jaden said, "Mama! You are going FAST!"
I said, "Yes, Jaden. I am going fast because you are late for school. I need to fly!"
She said, "No, Mama! Cars don't fly. Birds fly."
Ok, I know those with typical children are thinking, 'what's the big deal?!'.
The big deal is that this is a child who, because of autism, is supposed to be sitting alone, silent, rocking back and forth, staring at the lights and flapping (or biting) her hands.
Isn't God kind to bless my hard work so nicely?
