Funny girl

You'd think talking about the creation of babies would get easier after you have had 5,000 children. Nope. Jaden: "Watch me hatch from this egg!" Me: "Jaden, people don't really hatch from eggs. They grow in their Moms tummy" She looked at my middle and said, "But why would you eat me?"
I tried very hard to not laugh out loud. She was SO serious. I was kind of delighted that she would have such a complex thought. The problem is, I don't know how long she kept thinking about it! Did she realize she made a mistake? Did she want a real answer really quickly and after asking, didn't know how to get it out again? Was she frustrated? Did she promptly forget that she asked and it never entered her mind again?
