She misses her siblings

Last night I went to the library and when I came home, Reg had already bathed JadenGrace and put her to bed. He told me that she had one meltdown, calling for her brother Lance over and over. :o( The older children have been gone since Saturday night. Every so often during the day she will say, "Where's Lance?" or "Where's Morgan?" or "Where di Kady go?" with her hands in the air in that cute way she does...(I realize you have to be madly in love with JadenGrace to think that is so adorable). We are not sure if she fully understands, "They will be home next week"
I am so grateful for my teenagers. Having a big family has definately helped the work that Jaden needs to be spread out nicely. I consciously try to not overburden the olders with her care because 1) I don't want them to resent her and 2) she is our child. But I do very much appreciate their help when they take her outside, or change an occasional diaper, or brush her hair or tuck her into bed, or talk with her and teach her things, all with very rare complaints.
I am one of the strange people who thinks that having a large(r) family is easier than having a small one. Everyone always has someone to play with. Or talk to. Or pray with. As the kids get older, I will be able to have them take over errands and because there are so many of them, they wont think they are doing much at all!
