another small praise

today Jaden went to speech therepy. She has been going for several months and has not been very cooperative. At first I would go into the room with her but for the past several weeks she has been going into the 'playroom' with Miss Melissa on her own. The door is closed but I can hear them pretty clearly. Today while I was reading a worthless magazine (;o)) I noticed that JadenGrace was NOT giving Miss Melissa a hard time. No screeching, no banging on the door trying to get out, no fussing or crying. Just chattering. Playing. Being happy. Cooperating. She didn't say many words, but her feeling content is much more important to me....and when it was almost time to go I heard Melissa say, "Ok, Jaden, we can go see Mama now" and Jaden banged on the door and said "mama"...
I know that traditional therepy like speech is so important and I know that Melissa is excellent at what she does, but I believe the reason Jaden is more content is the biomedical treatment she is recieving. She has a long way to go but it is amazing the changes we are seeing already....
