The repairmen were here today

Our water heater croaked. Not nice timing.
One good thing happened today, though...Jaden had just woken from her nap while the repairmen were getting ready to leave. When they came into the living room where I was helping her with her shoes, she looked up at them. She looked into one set of eyes, and then the other. That was miracle enough, to be looking at these strange men right in the eyes. I said, "Jaden, say hi", fully expecting her not to. She had never said 'hi' before. She said "hi" Oh my word! I almost couldn't believe what I heard!
There are so many times during the day when Jaden screeches and screams that I tend to forget the good things she is doing. I am so glad I can write here, to update others of her progress, and to remind myself of what is happening. Living it is hard work. It can look dark a lot of the time. But this is a reminder that our hard work is paying off. God will be faithful!
