Rough weekend

Jaden was coughing at school on Friday and then woke up early Saturday with a bad cough and runny nose. She was coughing so badly I thought she had contracted Pertussis again. She had it when she was 12 months old and ever since, when she gets sick, it settles in her lungs and they just don't sound so healthy. Late Saturday she got pinkeye as well. I took her to afterhours care on Saturday night and she had low-grade fever but her ears, throat and lungs were all fine. By Sunday morning she woke with high fever which came down quickly with Motrin. Sunday and Monday were very difficult for her, and most of the time she spent in the rocker in the living room watching TV. Her appetite was down, of course, and she was just pretty sad--looking. She DID continue to poop on the potty--which she has started to do recently. \o/ As of today, she is doing better but not back to her usual jumpy, happy self.
Today was also the day I got results of her older sisters tests--high inflammation and severe ADD. Two different doctors. I thought maybe the last of my children to be tested would be blessedly FREE of disabilities but no, this one has physical issues we need to look into as well.
Wow. I am tired.
