Today JadenGrace had an appt with the Physical therepist. Her feet are flat and are starting to turn 'funny' when she walks. So the PT ordered her some inserts for her shoes that will help her to walk well. They will come in a couple of weeks and then no more bare footed baby around here! :o(
Brooke from Dr Buckley's office called yesterday, too. Dr Buckley is the DAN (defeat autism now!) doctor we are working with over in Ponte Vedre. Brooke is her 'receptionist' but is so much more than that. She is so knowledgeable and helpful. She has an autistic son who is five and doing very well in school. She also has an adorable 1 1/2 year old daughter that she brings to work with her! I love that!
Anyway, she told me some of the results of the stool test we sent off a while ago....Jaden has tons of two kinds of yeast in her intestines:
Candida Parapsilosis
Candida lusitaniae
She also has a pathogenic bacteria called:
aeromonas caviae
She is also low on glutathione, which if I remember correctly, is an antioxident which removes things that shouldn't be there. Though Jaden is quite healthy, it could mean things like metals, etc that we don't normally think of when we think of the body protecting itself...
The good news is that there is treatment for these things. One of the things that almost always helps the glutathione deficiency is MB12 shots, which we hope to start in the beginning of December. Other families have seen almost miraculous results with these shots and we are praying for the same for JadenGrace.
She needs to start a treatment for the yeast--first day tomorrow. The yeast will actully die off, and may create a situation where Jaden feels much worse for a few days before she feels better. If you talk to the Lord, please ask him to lesson or even remove any adverse symptoms to this treatment....She will be on it for 14 days.
The bacteria part can be treated with oil of oregano, which seems simple enough...
