Jaden and I were out this morning. It is Saturday and it has become somewhat of a special day for just the two of us--Reg and the older kids love to sleep late and since this is the only day they can, I try to do some errands and park time with Jaden to keep everything quiet back home. It started out as a blessing to them but is winding up a great blessing to Jaden and I as well. If she asks what day it is and I say "Saturday" she always runs to get dressed so we can "go out today!" Fun. (I never, ever offer her what day it is unless she asks)
On the way home Jaden was trying to reach my head, saying, "Let me see your curly lines." I didn't know what she was talking about but she kept insisting. At a red light I looked in the mirror to see what was on my head that looked like curly lines. Whatever curly lines were! Well, duh! Of course, she meant the long lines across my forehead that curl up real bad when I am confused...or angry. I had to teach her what wrinkles are today.

I love the way kids learn to name things they don't know the real name for. A few weeks ago Sam passed gas. He got this curious look on his face and asked, "What was that noise?" LOL! He wanted to know what it was called. So now he has a name for it when he does it. :)
