Jaden makes me giggle

Jaden had a good day today. She was much more engaged and played well today. She also made me laugh! I picked her up early from school because we had to attend speech therapy. Jaden was quite confused because we usually do speech on Tuesdays and Thursdays, not on Mondays. So she was whining in the car after I told her we were headed to speech. She said, "I want to go HOME!" Once we got in the waiting room, she settled down but I wasn't prepared for what she said soon after. I was telling her, "Be patient and still. Miss Peggy will be out soon." Jaden said, (always so loudly!) "I don't like that Miss Peggy too well!" It reminded me of some of the stuff that 2 year olds say to embarrass their parents. At least she is progressing!
Later in the day, when we were home, she and I were sitting at the kitchen table playing. Morgan walked by and Jaden asked her if she wanted to play, too. Morgan said, "No, her. I have something to do", and continued walking. Jaden said, "Morgan has a big bottom" and went right on playing with her little toys. We laughed and laughed. Love that girl!!
