More update

Jaden is not better. In the past couple of days she has added spinning to her list of behaviors. She also does her arm stims about 15 times per day versus 3-4 times several weeks ago. She wants to watch TV or use the computer all day and if we turn it off, she has fits. I am trying to train her well and be consistent, but it's hard to do when I know she is not feeling well.
Tomorrow we go to church and I am praying we make it through two services. I did manage to collect her pee this past Thursday and mail it off the same day to the lab. Results take 2 1/2 weeks, though, and then I can talk with the DAN doctor by phone to see what we find and what we can do to help her. The results will show where she is regarding her oxalate count and her intestinal yeast and bacteria.
Some good news, though: I asked the Doc to fax in a prescription for VSL3, a high-count probiotic. He did so and it will be ready on Tuesday. I think this probiotic will help Jaden--her gut issues started up again soon after I stopped another high-count probiotic in February. I stopped it due to cost: 100 dollars per bottle! If I had any idea it would have led to Jaden's regressing so much, I would have paid a thousand for it!
This is such a tough time. It is the most painful thing I have ever faced and well--I have been through just about everything and I am not even wimpy. :o)
Pray, please.
